US: Private sector employment rises by 807K in December vs. 400K expected

Employment in the US private sector rose by 807,000 in December, monthly data published by the Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Research Institute revealed on Wednesday. That was well above median economist forecasts for a rise in employment of 400,000 and marked an acceleration in the pace of job gains versus November when 534,000 jobs were added.
