AUD/JPY settling up ahead of 96 handle

FXStreet (Guatemala) - AUD/JPY is trading at 95.80, down -0.16% on the day, having posted a daily high at 96.02 and low at 95.78.

AUD/JPY looks to be settling here ahead of Japanese data and the Tokyo open. The run up from 95.20 has been steep and extending on the 95 handle while the daily RSI is currently in neutral territory at 49.27. On the hourly AUD/JPY chart, the 200 SMA is climbing and currently at 95.51, up from the previous hour close at 95.24.

Spot is presently trading at 95.81, and next resistance can be seen at 95.93, 96.02 (Daily High) and 96.07 (Yesterday's High). Next support to the downside can be found at 95.79 (Hourly 20 EMA) and 95.35 (Daily 20 SMA).

GBP/USD at the lowest for the month ahead of UK retail sales
