Italy’s PM Conte: Italy can contend for seat on ECB board - Corriere

The Italian daily, Corriere della Sera, is out with the latest comments from the Italian Prime Minister (PM) Conte, as he says that Italy will get the European Union (EU) economic portfolio.

Conte also said that Italy can contend for a seat on the European Central Bank (ECB) board.

The shared currency pays little heed to the above comments, keeping EUR/USD sidelined near 1.1285 region.
