Japan’s Suga: PM Abe visit to Iran in near future

In a regular briefing last hour, the Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said that his government is arranging a visit to Iran for PM Shinzo Abe in the coming days.

However, he did not confirm the details of the trip, citing that the details are still begin worked out.

It’s worth noting that Abe would be the first Japanese sitting Prime Minister to visit Iran in more than four decades.
