Fed's Mester: Inflation weakness likely is transitory

In an interview with CNBC, Cleveland Fed President Loretta Mester said that she fully supports the Fed's patient approach to look at data, adding that inflation weakness is likely transitory.

"The economy is strong, the productivity growth is positive for the economy," Mester said and forecasted the economy to grow by 2% to 2.5% in 2019.
