EU’s Barnier points finger at UK parliament for Theresa May's deal defeat

The European Union (EU) Chief Brexit Negotiator Michel Barnier took to Twitter overnight and blamed the UK lawmakers directly for the UK PM May’s plan failure and expressed his disappointment, the BBC reports.

Barnier tweeted:

“The EU has done everything it can to help get the Withdrawal Agreement over the line. The impasse can only be solved in the #UK. Our “no-deal” preparations are now more important than ever before.”
