NZD/USD hits fresh 3-week lows

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD broke below 0.8545 and fell to 0.8524, reaching the lowest price since April 3. A strong US dollar pushed the pair to the downside. Currently trades at 0.8530, down 0.60% for the day and is headed toward the lowest daily close in a month.

The Kiwi retreated further from multi-year highs reached earlier in April at 0.8743. Now is eyeing monthly lows that lie at 0.8512.

Technical levels for the NZD/USD

Below 0.8510, immediate support might lie at 0.8500 and then 0.8430 (January 14 high, March 12 low). To the upside resistance is seen at 0.8545 (April 24 low) and 0.8595 (April 25 high).
