EUR futures: neutral/bearish for the time being

In light of advanced figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added nearly 2.7K contracts to their open interest positions on Monday from Friday’s final 504,741 contracts. Volume, instead, dropped by around 24.8K contracts.

EUR/USD could still slip back to 1.1300

Increasing open interest and choppy activity in volume should leave the door open for EUR/USD to extend the rangebound theme in the near term, although a probable test of YTD lows in the 1.1300 neighbourhood is not ruled out.
