China is planning to cut import tax next month - Bloomberg

China is planning to cut the average tariff rate on imports from the majority of its trading partners from next month, according to Bloomberg.

The move is likely a part of the broader plan to open up the consumer market.

Currently, the average tariff stands at 9.8 percent.
