US formally announced 25% tariffs on more than 1,300 Chinese products - UOB

Analysts at UOB Group explained that the US Trade Representative’s office formally announced 25% tariffs on more than 1,300 technology, medical and industrial products, worth a total of about USD 50 bn of trade value.

"The USTR said that the tariffs were “in response to China’s policies that coerce American companies into transferring their technology and intellectual property to domestic Chinese enterprises”.
