EMU: Annual Retail Sales drop 1% in December

FXStreet (Barcelona) - Eurostat informed on Wednesday that year-over-year Eurozone Retail Sales dropped 1.0% in December, compared with the 1.3% increase in November and against forecasts of a 1.5%rise.

On a monthly basis Eurozone Retail Sales dropped 1.6%, after growing 0.9% and below expectations of falling 0.5%.
