Fed to begin balance sheet normalization from Q4 2017 – Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs now expects the Fed to hike rates in March, June and September and sees earlier balance sheet reduction.

The investment expects Fed to end full portfolio reinvestment in Q4 2017, instead of mid-2018. It sees earlier balance sheet normalization as slightly more likely than a fourth rate hike.
