Wall Street closed a mixed week amid bittersweet earnings

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market closed mixed on Friday and the whole week as investors digested disappointing corporate earnings from big companies such as GE and Intel Corporation.

The Dow Jones advanced 41.55 points or 0.25% to finish at 16,458.56; the DJIA rose 0.13% on the week. The S&P 500 declined 7.19 pts or 0.39% to close at 1,838.70, 0.2% down in the week.

The Nasdaq lost 21.11pts or 0.50% to 4,197.58. The Composite rose 0.55% in the week, up 4 of the last 5 weeks.

Shaun Osbourne, Chief FX Strategist at TD Securities suggested that funds is a buy on dips. So far, the pair has certainly been a bullish opportunity on dips.
