Tax reform could improve productivity – FOMC’s R.Kaplan
Dallas Fed Robert Kaplan (voter, hawkish) said on Wednesday that corporate tax reform and infrastructure projects could spur US productivity.
In addition, Kaplan expects the US economy to expand 2.3% this year excluding new fiscal regulatory policies), while he said the labour market remains ‘pretty tight’.
Kaplan now sees risks in oil prices tilted to the upside in the upcoming 3-5 years.
