December India manufacturing PMI falls on demonetization - Nikkei

According to the Nikkei Asian Review, the Nikkei India Manufacturing PMI dropped to 49.6 in December from November's 52.3, contracting for the first time in 12 months.

Nikkei, in a statement said, "PMI data for December indicated that the rupee demonetization took a toll on manufacturing performance."
