Very close to full employment – Fed’s Fischer

Fed’s Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer argued that the economy remains very close to full employment, ‘if not there already’.

Fischer also said that a high level of uncertainty still remains around potential fiscal plans, while he noted the recent appreciation of the dollar.
