Key Quotes
“Polls have tightened considerably recently and the “no toss-ups” Electoral College average of polls (according to RealClearPolitics.com) is leaning just slightly toward a Clinton/Kaine victory (273 electoral votes against the Trump/Pence 265 tally).
In terms of the Senate, Republicans are currently slightly edging out Democrats 51-49 in “no toss-ups” polling. But while the Presidency and Senate are seemingly too close to call, the House looks very likely to remain decidedly in Republican control—they are ahead 224 to the Democrats’ 190, not including the 21 toss-ups. Thus, Republicans can achieve a majority of 218 seats without winning any of the toss-ups.”
