Attempted coup in Turkey, use of force authorized - Reports

Reports of gunfire and jets flying over Turkish capital Ankara are crossing the wires. Turkey’s Prime Minister has stated that a group within military “is engaged in an attempted coup”. NTV channel is showing footage of tanks at the entrance to Istanbul's Ataturk Airport.

Turkish Lira plummeted 3.4% against dollar, while USD/JPY has seen some downside and currently trades at 105.25.
