Dairy prices fall at GlobalDairyTrade auction
The latest GlobalDairyTrade (GDT) auction ended with a drop in the dairy prices.
Prices fell 2.%, to USD 2190 per metric tonne. At the previous auction a fortnight ago, prices rose 1.4% to an average of USD 2253 a tonne, putting an end to four consecutive falls.
Whole milk prices (New Zealand’s major export) fell 0.8% to USD 1971.
