China’s macro-economic environment will be very complicated in 2016 - Vice minister at MOF

In a speech published on the Ministry of Finance (MOF) website, Liu Kun, a Vice minister at MOF noted, “The key risks for China's economy are local governments' debt levels and their financial positions.”

Liu added. “The macro-economic environment will be very complicated in 2016, and tax cuts and the widening fiscal deficit would be crucial issues. There needs to be closer coordination of fiscal and financial policies to support structural reform efforts.”
