No sense having a new CHF floor – SNB’s T.Jordan

Thomas Jordan, President of the SNB, has argued that there is no point in implementing a new floor for the Swiss franc, adding that there is no target for the currency.

Jordan sees CHF under pressure if the European economy deteriorates, while he reiterated the SNB remains ready to intervene in case of need. In addition, he did not rule out further rate cuts.
