UK: Total Trade deficit narrows less than expected in August
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Total Trade deficit narrowed to £-3.320 billion in August from £-3.449 billion in July, according to data released today by National Statistics. Analysts expected the deficit to narrow to £-2.050 billion.
UK Goods Trade deficit narrowed to £-9.625 billion in August from £-9.941 billion in July, against projections of reaching £-9.000 billion.
UK non-EU Trade deficit narrowed to £4.351 billion from £-4.781 billion and below expectations of narrowing to £-3.800 billion.
