USD/CHF at fresh lows as pressure intensifies

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Following a phase of consolidation, the USD/CHF fell to fresh lows during the American afternoon as pressure on the greenback intensifies heading into the FOMC statement.

USD/CHF broke below previous lows and stretched to the 0.9240 zone where it printed a 2-day low in recent dealings. At time of writing, USD/CHF is trading at the 0.9245 area, 0.1% below its opening price.

USD/CHF technical levels

In terms of technical levels, USD/CHF could find immediate supports at 0.9247 (daily low) and 0.9225 (Sep 16 low) ahead of 0.9200 (psychological level). On the flip side, resistances are seen at 0.9280 (100-hour SMA), 0.9300 (psychological level) and 0.9318 (10-day SMA).
