Greek banks could receive capital injection after bailout but before ECB stress test
FXStreet (Córdoba) - Eurozone sources suggest Greek banks could receive their first capital injection after the third bailout deal, but before the European Central Bank completes the stress test, Reuters reported.
The EU has suggested Greek banks may need between €10 billion and €25 billion, but the final amount is dependent on stress tests and an asset quality review.
A third bailout deal between Greece and its creditors is expected this month, which would unlock up to €86 billion.
