Merkel says door still open to talks with Greece

FXStreet (Córdoba) - Following a meeting between French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel stated that they respect the Greek vote and urged Prime Minister Tsipras to make credible proposals.

Merkel said that the door remains open to talks with Greece and added that new proposal should be available this week. Finally Merkel said that she wants Greece to stay in the Eurozone but Europe can only hold together if each country takes responsibility for its self.

FOMC key event after Eurogroup - TDS

Analysts at TD Securities noted the forthcoming FOMC meeting this week after the Greek referendum and subsequent next Eurogroup meeting and EU summit.
