Rate hike in 2016 would be consistent – Fed’s Evans

FXStreet (Mumbai) - A rate hike is possible at any of the future Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meetings, but postponing the move into next year would be consistent with more confidence on inflation, Chicago Federal Reserve (Fed) President Charles Evans told CNBC in an interview on Thursday.
