US: CPI rose 1.8% in June
FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) -The Department of Labour has informed that US consumer prices rose 1.8% on a yearly basis during June, missing expectations at 1.5%. On a monthly basis, prices expanded 0.5% vs. 0.3% expected.
Core CPI, which strips food and energy costs, rose 1.6% over the last twelve months and 0.2% MoM, banging on estimates.
