UK: Goods Trade deficit widens slightly in May

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - UK Goods Trade deficit widened to £8.491 billion in May from £8.430 billion in April, according to data released today by National Statistics. Analysts expected the deficit to widen less to £8.470 billion.

Total Trade deficit widened to £2.435 billion in May from £2.073 billion in April.

UK Trade deficit non-EU widened to £4.093 billion from £3.428 billion and against expectations of widening only to £3.500 billion.
