Portugal Coelho didn't resign and don't accept Portas resignation

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The Portuguese Prime Minister didn't accept the Paulo Portas' resignation as he said that there are a lot of work to do yet. It was the second resignation in only two days after the Vitor Gaspar decision on Monday.

The Portas decision put the government in jeopardize as he is the party leader of the Democratic and Social Centre, People's Party. The group who guarantee the government coalition.

In a populist speech, Coelho said that he never will abandon the country as the other parties did it in the past days. In this way, Coelho stated he won't resign.
