US Stocks trade flat
FXStreet (Mumbai) - US Equity markets are trading flat today as markets take a breather after a sharp recovery witnessed since last Thursday.
The DJIA is trading 0.06% lower at 16,604.50, while the S&P 500 is trading 0.04% lower at 1940.50. The S&P 500 rose 2% yesterday, its best single day performance since October 2013.
Among the DJIA index stocks, Boeing and Coca Cola are trading lower by 1.55% and 1.27% respectively. Meanwhile, Dupoint, The Travelers, and Wal-mart stores have gained more than 0.6% each. Among the S&P index stocks, Braodcom and Yahoo are up 7.22% and 4.64%, respectively, after the Q3 sales topped estimates. Investors are awaiting the earnings report from Boeing Co. and AT&T Inc today.
DJIA Technical levels
The index has an immediate resistance of 16,674 (Oct 2 low), above which it can rise to 16,804 levels. On the other hand, prices may slip to 16,370 levels if the immediate support of 16,575 is breached.
