NZD/USD bulls struggling at 0.7880/90
FXStreet (Moscow) - NZD/USD has extended gains towards the Asian high reached at 0.7887 on the back of USD weakness across the board; currently the pair is trading at 0.7877.
NZD/USD retraced from weekly high at 0.7974, but managed to finish the week in the green zone at 0.7807. The pair may have bottomed out at 0.7707, though we need another positive weekly close for a confirmation. Kiwi is on the upside early on Monday as China reported an unexpected pick-up in imports and better-than-forecast export growth. This news is supportive for the New Zealand currency as China is one of its primary trading partners. Later during the day the upside may be capped by 0.7900 resistance. The support comes at 0.7818 (Asian opening)
